Scientology is a dangerous satanic cult accused of making claims which they can neither prove nor substantiate. Drug users who are trying to kick their habit are perfect prey for Scientology. Anyone who criticises them can end up being followed and harassed and they try to destroy your life. People who join them are brainwashed and often end up cutting themselves off from family members who arent amenable to the basic tenets of this cult. Their version of the history of humanity and the world is like something out of a comic book:

"Xenu, was the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of aliens to Earth in spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and blew them up with hydrogen bombs. Their souls then clustered together and stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to wreak chaos and havoc today."

The story of Xenu is covered in OT III, part of Scientology's secret "Advanced Technology" doctrines taught only to advanced members. The cult avoids making mention of Xenu in public statements and has gone to considerable effort to maintain the story's confidentiality, including legal action on the grounds of both copyright and trade secrecy. Despite this, much material on Xenu has leaked to the public, largely via the internet.

In Britain the Charity Commission has refused recognition of Scientology as a religion. What religion charges its believers for its services? Scientology is also a money making scam. Avoid it like the plague that it is!
