The Joint Committee on Human Rights came out today and said that house arrest is probably contrary to human rights law, and that giving the Home Secretary the power to have people put under house arrest is a threat to the constitution.

A senior international lawyer has urged the British government to "come clean" and publish the legal advice it received justifying war in Iraq, amid accusations it was politically manipulated.

Tony Blair's trust ratings plunged over his decision to go to war and his record is under the spotlight again in the run-up to an expected May election.

Philippe Sands, a law professor who works in the same chambers as Blair's barrister wife Cherie, said of the pre-war advice from Attorney-General Lord Goldsmith: "You can't help but reach the conclusion that it may have been tainted politically in some way."

Tony Blair is some hypocrite to ask for an apology when he has snubbed this nations desire for an apology over his Iraq lies. Which is why I will never vote for Labour while Tony Blair is PM.

New Labour is simply Conservatives in "sheeps clothing". A bunch of lying warmongers whose strategy of governance relies, it seems, purely on Focus Groups, Polls and "Spin".

One of Labours biggest problems I think, is Blairs arrogance. He seems to think he can handle almost anything, and he probably can, but people dont like that he knows and shows it. People prefer their leaders to be more modest. He too often comes across as smug and gives the impression that no matter what others think or say he will always have some clever answer. And we know he is going to do what he wants anyway..

People dont want clever answers, they want to be heard and listened to. TB may be hearing, but we know he wont listen.
